What a nice idea!
If it's Carroll-elated music you want to compile, I imagine thee is a great deal of it around -though not something I've thouhtght on deeply. The obious on that comes to mind other than Grace Slick, is the Beatles, 'I am the Walrus'. A few commentators hae speculated on Gilber and Sullivan's influence on Carroll (or vice versa). There's a lot of classical music falls into the frame if you want to look at Carroll's use of myth. Marianne Faithful once did a suprisingly good ersion of Jabbewocky. I personally think that there are some ery Carroll-like elements in early Floyd (Sid Barrett), and Captain Beefheart is said to hae been influenced by Carroll. There's some starters!
Cheers

Lately I've been listening to the Guild Wars soundtracks by Jeremy Soule ( directsong.com), and also the new album from Opeth, Watershed. If you're into psychedelic stuff, you might find them interesting. They're heavy metal, but with a pretty heavy psychedelic influence (their fifth album was called Blackwater Park after the psych/prog/hard rock band of the same name). You might have to be a little more open-minded to get into them, but it's worth a shot. I'm a musician myself, so beyond Jeremy Soule, I've mostly been listening to a lot of my own tracks trying to get back in the mood for recording. Unfortunately, life and work have left me too exhausted to be of much use musically. Actually, my novels have stagnated as well. At this point, the only thing I've had the energy for has been my poetry. EDIT - Added links.

Good on you all. I think we can all find some Alice, Wonderland and Carroll - oriented music....like all things it's the WILL to do so that has to be cultivated. Currently listening to: The Alice in Wonderland video by Bunin..........just click the link for a peek-a-boo www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IKMvgkzUJg
