Hi I am from Australia. Some time ago I inherited (5) Old Guinness Alice In Wonderland Postcards. I don't know anything about them and thought I would ask if anyone knows their history and whether they are of interest. I will list them on ebay this week as they are of no interest to me. I have included a photo of one 'Bottle and Jug'. It has in brackets under title 'A passage which by some oversight, Lewis Carroll never wrote).. The postcards are printed in Great Britain By Sanders Phillips Co Ltd, London. All have different colour pictures on front with verse. They have divided rear with word Postcard. The other four postcards are titled: 1. Mushroom Growth 2. Bottle Royal 3. Why Was the Hatter Mad 4. Alice Studies Natural History. My email: braelyn@optusnet.com.au Kind Regards Allan Attachments:

Allan, welcome to the forum.
I'm afraid I have no knowledge whatsoever of Carroll collectibles but I'm afraid the forum has been so quiet lately that those who do may be taking a nap. I'll write to one or two offlist and see if I can get a response.
All the best
Mike

Hi Allan, I am new to this forum as of this week, and I was looking through previous postings. Around the time of your posting it happens that I was cataloging Guinness Alice postcards for the Morgan Library. You can search their catalog on their website using the expert search with Alice and postcards and you should be able to retrieve the info that way. I don't know that I added anything new to your understanding, but they were news to me too at the time. Hope this isn't too late, good luck. Elizabeth
