Came across this wonderful blog by Joyce Carol Oates: www.salon.com/weekly/carroll960930.html. It is essentially a tribute to Alice - and, therefore, her creator - written with such eloquence and fervor, I found it quite moving. Thought some of you might also want to read it.

Hot off the press. Jabberwocky just made it through to the next stage of America's got talent!
I always thought there was something 'New-Worldy' about The Jabberwock. After all who could imagine an Englishman of substance wearing such an outrageous waistcoat!
