In my attempt to translate "Notes of an Oxford Chiel" into Russian I had met two difficalties in "The New Method of Evaluation" as well as in "The Dynamics of Parti-cle".
1) "In toto" as the ablative of "tumtum". What is tumtum here?(Part IV) 2) Is there such a treatise as "Augusti de fallibilitate historicorum"? (Part V)
3) Proposition V at the end of The Dynamics: "A and B who are respectively addicted to Fours and Fives, occupy the same set of rooms etc." What are Fours and Fives? 4) I didn't find a line "Go dress yourself, Dinah, like a gorgeous R. A." in Tennyson's The Princess. Maybe this is a joke? Or there is another Princess?
