I've always been a big fan of Morten Cohen's biography, but I have so little time for reading these days. I've taken to listening to books on CD at work -- or MP3 as the case may be -- when I have tons of time and very little to think about (my job involves a lot of data extraction/entry). Does anyone know if there are any Carroll biographies in audio form at this point? I've looked around here and there but not come up with much of anything, and rather than beat my head against a wall any further I thought it would make sense to ask people who may know the answer straight away.
Thanks!

Like you, I listen to a lot of audiobooks. May I recommend Alice in Wonderland & Nonsense Verse and Prose in mp3 format from www.oxfordstorypods.com? 3 hours' recording of the whole book, several voices, original music plus half an hour of recitations of poems including Jabberwocky and prose extracts from letters and Sylvie & Bruno. Non-Lewis Carroll audios I've also enjoyed are: Tishomingo Blues an Elmore Leonard novel read by the amazing Frank Muller. An Equal Music by Vikram Seth as an audiobook is exquisite because you actually hear the pieces that are being played by characters in the story and Alan Bates' narration is an outstanding example of vocal acting. Hope you like my suggestions.

"natural voices " is a great text to speech software google it and get the free software that is good but the voices you have to buy sound brilliant Ill have to get them somehow.
If you had a software that turned text into speech with good , listenable voices, it would be brilliant you can turn any text... short stories, e mail, novels etc... anything.... into speech.. turn off the screen and just listen.
